
Biography :
Leif Sieben finished his Master’s in Interdisciplinary Sciences at ETH Zurich, working at the intersection of chemistry, biology, and computer science. He completed his Master's thesis at MIT, where he developed machine learning models for antibiotic discovery. His research spans computational chemistry, deep learning, and drug development, with publications in journals including Cell, npj Science of Food, Lab on a Chip, Advanced Science, and Physics of Plasmas. Leif is a Fellow of the Swiss Study Foundation and recipient of the Werner Siemens Excellence Fellowship. His work focuses on applying artificial intelligence to accelerate molecular discovery in food science and medicine.
