Dr. Monika Gajec

Biography :

Monika Gajec has been with the Oil and Gas Institute – National Research Institute (INiG – PIB) in Poland for ten years and has served as Manager of the Climate and Resources Protection Laboratory (AB 041) since 2022. She oversees the laboratory’s research and accreditation activities, including analyses of natural gas, gas mixtures, and biogas quality. She coordinates the Institute’s membership in Hydrogen Europe Research and leads work on environmental protection, critical raw material recovery, and renewable energy technologies. She actively participates in Horizon Europe projects, including e.g. THOTH2, NHyra, SHIMMER, and COREu, and has authored numerous publications on hydrogen, nanomaterials, and environmental analysis
